Our approach considers the impact of our business on all stakeholders and the environment in order to achieve long-term growth and success. We are delighted to share our 2021 impact and the strides we have made in our environmental, social, and governance (ESG) efforts toward a more sustainable, connected, and inclusive world.

This report is prepared in accordance with relevant international standards and best practices, in particular the Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB) for the Real Estate Sector and the Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD).

Hersha has committed to achieving net-zero Scope 1 and 2 GHG emissions across all operations by 2050, with an interim reduction target
set for 2030.
